I've been married to my wonderful husband going on ten years. He is a very busy man and that's the way he prefers it. He farms 250 acres, takes care of several head of cattle; sheep and horses. He does all of this while holding down a full-time job as a welder of cattle equipment. I bet you're wondering when we get to spend any time together? Believe it or not he still finds time for his family. He is a wonderful husband and an even more terrific dad.
|Our wedding day 2002|
My oldest daughter, which we call "bug". She is very smart and is always making high marks in school. She loves to play softball and never meets a stranger. She is starting to become more independant and likes to state her opinion a lot. She is sweet most of the time, but she does know how to push those buttons.
My youngest daughter, we call her "stinker". She is a momma's girl through and through. If I'm sitting on the couch she is always right there next to me holding my arm. She has many friends in school, but loves to irritate her sister. She really is a sweetheart and loves to make people laugh.
That's pretty much my life in a nutshell. When I met my husband I weighed 170 pounds, and by the time we got married I was 200 pounds. I weighed 220 pounds after bug, and then stinker came along and I weighed 250 pounds. The stress of nursing school added another twenty pounds. It's amazing how when you're not paying attention the weight can just sneak up on you. Here I am sitting here wondering how my weight soared to 270 pounds.
I'm ready to live my life to the fullest and lose this weight. I know that I can be a better wife, mom and nurse if I didn't have all of this weight weighing me down. That is my mission. One year One Hundred Pounds. I'm looking forward to sharing this journey with you. Thanks for stopping by. I love comments, so if you stop by be sure to say you were here.
