I guess I won't be going this way.
Looks like I'll have to go the long way around. As I was driving I saw something walking down the road...more like running and pooping down the road.
they're making a run for it.
They finally decided to get out of my way. The floods must have washed down the fence.
As I drove up to this next bridge there was a duck and her babies following behind her, but I wasn't fast enough with the camera to get a picture. If only I had a neat camera with a mega zoom lens.
As I was standing there I heard something swishing and was wondering what it was, as I went down to the neighbors, this is what I saw.
Looks like the neighbors cattle are going for a swim.
I'm just thankful that with all of the crazy weather we had last night that we didn't have any tornados that touched down. I pray for all of you that have had any damages from these terrible storms. This weather has just been crazy. My girls are terrified when they talk about thunderstorms, because they are scared to death of tornados. Well, it looks like I'll be jogging on the treadmill for a little while.
That is a whole lot of water! Glad no one was hurt. Looked like a good day for a swim.... ;)

I'm thinking a big raft, a cooler with some beverages, and some friends makes for a fun afternoon.
ReplyDeleteThank you for the comment you left on my blog. It really does help knowing that I am not alone in this (not that I would ever wish this on anyone).
ReplyDeleteI am looking forward to cheering you on and offering encouragment when and where I can.
And when you get tired of the rain and water send it our way, we are DRY down here!
